Contact AMEDXIAbout this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AMEDXI handles information when you browse our website, create an account, place or review an order, manage saved details, or contact customer support. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the AMEDXI storefront.
The sections below describe the information used to provide these services and the controls available in your account. For the conditions that apply to website use and purchasing, read our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide through your account, shopping activity and conversations with our team.
- Account information: your name, email address and sign-in credentials.
- Shopping and transaction information: saved delivery addresses, cart contents, ordered items, quantities, amounts, payment status and package updates.
- Support information: request subjects, topics, messages, supported attachments and any order you link to a request. Replies and request status remain available in your account. Staff may keep internal notes to handle a request or order.
We also process technical information generated when you use the website, as described in Cookies and technical information.
How we use information
We use account, transaction and support information to:
- Provide sign-in, saved account details and shopping features.
- Record purchases, payment status, delivery information and service requests.
- Continue support conversations and send relevant account or service messages.
- Investigate problems, maintain the website and help prevent misuse.
Authorized staff can access information relevant to customer service and account administration. Customer account pages use access controls to restrict records to the relevant account.
Payments and information sharing
Payment processing
When live purchasing is enabled for an eligible product, Stripe processes payment through its hosted payment page. We provide the order, contact and address information needed for payment, tax calculation and invoicing, and record amounts, payment status and provider references. Card details are entered with Stripe, not stored as full card numbers by this website. If you choose to save a payment method, we keep its Stripe reference and limited display details so you can identify it in your account.
Order fulfillment
For a real purchase, the order and delivery details needed to fulfill it may be shared with the supplier or carrier handling the shipment. Package and tracking updates are recorded with your order.
Sandbox and sample orders
Sandbox and sample checkout are clearly labeled. They store test order and payment records, and Stripe Sandbox checkout sends test transaction details to Stripe. They do not collect real payments or arrange physical shipments.
Storage and account protection
Information is stored in the website’s database and may also be included in operational backups. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not readable passwords. Saved delivery addresses and order delivery addresses are encrypted in storage. Account access is controlled through sign-in sessions and staff permissions.
Support messages and accepted screenshots or documents are stored with the conversation. Ticket files are encrypted in storage and accessed through permission-checked account or staff pages; they are not published in the website’s media library. The same protections apply to photos and files attached to return, exchange, replacement and cancellation requests. Internal-note files are restricted to authorized staff. The upload form shows supported file types and limits.
Keep sensitive information out of support requests. Do not include patient details, prescriptions, medical records, passwords or full payment card numbers in messages or attachments.
Email and support conversations
We use email to send account-verification and password-reset messages to the address you provide. These messages contain time-limited links. Delivery records help us operate these services and investigate sending problems. Verifying an account does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Support replies and recorded order updates are available in your account. Eligible verified customers can receive service emails according to their email preferences. Support emails include the ticket subject and the team’s customer-facing reply. They may list attached files; sign in to the conversation to view or download those files. Internal staff notes are not included in customer emails.
When a support email provides direct-reply instructions, replying from your verified account email to its private reply address can add your message and supported attachments to the original ticket without signing in. Reply addresses expire, and unsupported or unverified messages may not be added. Incoming email is processed through our support mailbox, where the original email may remain even when it is not added to a ticket. You can also reply from your account.
Email records help us manage retries and investigate sending problems. Service emails do not subscribe you to marketing.
Website live chat and visitor presence
Our live chat runs on AMEDXI infrastructure. A first-party session cookie, which expires after one day, reconnects your browser to your conversation. Messages and any name or email address you choose to provide are available to authorized support staff. You do not need to create an account to use chat.
To help our team respond, the visitor view shows recent activity on public pages, your IP address and an approximate country, region or city derived from a locally stored IP database. Location can be inaccurate, particularly when you use a VPN or mobile network. We do not request your device’s precise location, send visitor IP addresses to an external location service, or record page query strings and private account pages in this visitor view.
Automatic visitor presence respects the browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can still open chat when these signals are enabled. Visitor IP and location details become eligible for clearing after 24 hours without activity, and closed chat conversations become eligible for deletion after 90 days. Hourly maintenance processes these records in batches. Operational backups may retain earlier copies for their backup retention period. Clearing cookies disconnects this browser from its conversation but does not immediately erase the stored conversation. Contact support about access or deletion requests.
Please do not share payment card numbers, passwords or sensitive health information in chat.
Your information and choices
You can change your name in Account details and remove saved addresses from Delivery addresses. Removing a saved address does not change the delivery information already recorded on an order.
Open Your data & privacy to request an account data export or account closure. These requests require password and email verification followed by staff review. Workspace-linked accounts require owner assistance. You can follow the request and read the team’s decision in your account.
You can also review email preferences and manage saved payment methods in Payment methods. Contact our team if you need help with other account corrections.
Account closure and retained records
Approved account closure removes saved shopping choices and addresses, anonymizes the personal profile and stops account access. It does not erase existing order, payment, fulfillment, support, returns, business purchasing or audit history, including delivery addresses recorded on transactions and protected backups. Stripe-held payment records and saved-card references require separate review; you can manage saved cards in Payment methods. Contact support for help with retained records or other account corrections.
Signing out or clearing browser cookies does not delete records stored by the website. If you have questions about a retained record, contact us using the details below.
Contact and policy updates
For a privacy question, use your account support form to follow the conversation, or contact us using the details below. Describe your request without sending passwords, card details or confidential medical information.
The date at the top of this page identifies the latest update to this policy.
