Start with the task and setting
Write down where an item will be used, who will handle it and which existing equipment it must fit. An exact model, size or SKU gives you a more useful comparison than a broad product name. Keep those requirements beside your supply list as you browse.
Compare the whole unit of sale
Each, pack and case can represent different quantities. Review the unit of sale, pack quantity, selected variant and currency together before comparing prices. A lower displayed price does not tell you how much material or how many individual items a purchase contains.
Make missing information visible
Keep unanswered questions about dimensions, materials, accessories or documentation alongside the product name and SKU. Labeled demonstration products are part of the sample catalog. Their details do not confirm real product specifications, supplier stock or availability to purchase.
